Jeff is the pastor of Hope Community Church in the Lawrenceburg/Frankfort Kentucky area. He has been a pastor since January 1986, and has served four Kentucky Baptist churches as pastor before planting Hope Community Church in August 1998. Jeff is a second generation pastor, therefore, a preacher's kid, his father Thurman Eaton pastored churches in Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, and Illinois. Jeff is married to the former Julie Winn of Campbellsville, Ky. Julie is a gifted vocalist and teacher. She is a school nurse, and a mentor to minister's wives. Jeff and Julie have two children Andrew and Laura.
Andrew is a third generation pastor, and is a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, M.Div, and The University of Kentucky. B.A., with a major in Psychology and a minor in Hebrew. Andrew has served two churches, Hope Community Church and Hillvue Church, as a Student Pastor. He is currently planting a church in Lexington, KY. The church is Commonwealth City Church, and was launched Easter 2014. Andrew serves Lexington Christian Academy as Chapel Pastor, and as Junior High boys golf coach.
Laura is a a graduate of Western Kentucky University. She focused on a Chemistry major and a Biology minor with emphasis in pre-pharmacy.Laura graduated early with honors, Magna Cum Laude. She is also a 2016 graduate from The University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy while simultaneously earning a Master's in Public Health. Laura is employed as a Pharmicist at The University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Ky. She loves to dance, sing and do anything missions. Laura is married to Tom Cannon. Tom is a Junior High School math teacher for gifted students in the Fayette County School system in Lexington, Ky. We affectionatlely refer to Tom as our son-in-love!
Jeff is a graduate of Taylor County High School in Campbellsville, Kentucky. He is a graduate of Campbellsville University B.S., The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary M.Div., and Fuller Theological Seminary D.Min.
Jeff is an adjunct professor at Campbellsville University. He conducts revivals, participates in conferences, leads seminars, and encourages churches and pastors to experience transformation and endure transition. Jeff and Julie are strongly connected to Gideon's International, and taught at their international convention for several years.
Jeff also has an outdoor ministry called RevOutdoors. Through this ministry, he engages people who love the outdoors to expereience Christ and His plan for their lives. Jeff speaks at wild game banquets, leads hunting seminars, hosts duck hunting retreats, and demonstrates the use of game calls.
